t’s that time of year again, folks. Kildare's West Chester and John DeBella are teaming up for their 9th Annual Running of the Turkeys on Sunday, November 18th. The running of the Turkeys is a 1 mile Thanks giving themed run while carrying a frozen turkey.

Join other runners at 11am, when registration opens for the 1 mile run while carrying a frozen turkey. This race will only cost you the price of one frozen turkey that is donated to charity.

ALL TURKEYS AND PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE ANNUAL JOHN DEBELLA TURKEY DROP.

If you’re unable to purchase your turkey in advance, a limited number of turkeys will be on sale at Kildare’s the day of the race. You’re encouraged to get creative with not only your outerwear but also your carrying method.

Prizes are being donated from local businesses and will be awarded for the following categories: Fastest Man, Fastest Woman, Fastest Boy, Fastest Girl, Most Turkeys Carried, Most Creative Carry, Best Holiday Outfit and Heaviest Turkey.

In 2015 we raised over 1500lbs of Turkey for charity. We also had 5 racers in the 100lb club. They carried at least 100lbs of Turkeys around the entire course.

Good luck to all race participants! Stay after the race to watch the Eagles take on the New Orleans Saints.
