An informal Happy Hour style Whiskey and cocktail tasting/education event with Rachael Ewing
Rachael was born in Seattle, grew up in Germany and attended university in Scotland. Her career in whisky started at the famous Grill Bar in Aberdeen, a Scottish heritage (est 1870) and award-winning establishment. There she became familiar with the distilling process and acquired specific knowledge of over 600 expressions, varying in flavor according to age, region and distiller.
Rachael holds an expert’s level certificate in the Sales and Service of Scotch Whisky from the Scotch Whisky Heritage Center in Edinburgh as well as a certificate from the Filson Bourbon Academy. She has lead classes and tastings independently since 2012, and in 2015 represented Glenmorangie and Ardbeg single malt scotches for the South East of the US.

Welcome Cocktail: White Whiskey Margarita made featuring Dickel White
Bourbon Flight: Bulleit, Bulleit Rye and Bulleit 10yr
Closing Cocktail: Rose Old Fashioned featuring Crowne Rye
Some light food will be supplied.
